Lead Pastor
Josephine Mackay

Josephine carries a great passion in her heart for people to know, love and enjoy the fullness of Christ in their daily living experience. An ordained Minister of the Assemblies of God (UK), she has led many outreach portfolios to actively engage the community, such as Destiny House Foodbank; Windrush events; Homeless initiatives in collaboration with Brent Council and other multifaith organisations, Healthy Eating & Exercise programs for the elderly, disabled and those with learning difficulties. She is an advocate and a mentor for those who are underrepresented, marginalised, and have no voice. Her personal ministry is to equip women with the necessary knowledge, gifts and talents to enable them to reach their potential in Christ. Through the Word of God, Pastor Josephine helps women to break free from personal, societal and environmental limitations.

Thereby, encouraging them to discover and fulfil their calling and purpose. Furthermore, as a respected leader and an astute businesswoman, she sits on the Business Advisory Board of the Main Church Destiny House International.

Josephine is happily married to Evangelist Kenny for over 36 years, and they are blessed with three blessed children, Aaron, Mark and Shanara and four grandchildren, Teisha, Nia, Daniel and Kaiden.

Pastor Josephine is convinced that God’s eternal plans are always in play by His all-controlling Holy Spirit. Her desire is to allow her life to further the things of God in the local church as well as the wider body of Christ and for the manifested power of the Holy Spirit to be evidential in and through His Church.

OUR VALUES

REAL LOVE

  • We believe that everyone has the right to know the love of God – (Romans 10:13)
  • This is actioned by the Church into our communities when we love our neighbours as ourselves – (Mark 12:30)
  • We are not just to be hearers of the Word, but have to be doers of the Word – (James 1:22)

Our Beliefs

Both the Old Testament and the New Testament are the inspired and the authoritative words of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths.

(2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 2:11)

We believe in the unity of the One True and Living God who is the Eternal, Self-Existent “I AM”, Who has also revealed Himself as One being co-existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

(Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:10-11, Matthew 28:28, Luke 3:22)

We believe in the Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Miraculous Ministry, Substitutionary Atoning Death, Bodily Resurrection, Triumphant Ascension and Abiding Intercession of the Lord Jesus Christ and in His personal, visible, bodily return in power and glory as the blessed hope of all believers.

(John 1:1, 14, 20-28, 1 Timothy 3:16, Isaiah 9:6, Philippians 2:5-6, 1 Timothy 2:5)

The third Person of the Trinity and Giver of Supernatural Gifts. The Holy Spirit indwells, baptises and gives supernatural gifts to all believers for empowerment to serve and witness. His present work is the same as in the New Testament.

(Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, James 5:14-16)

Mankind was created good and upright. However, by voluntary disobedience, fell into sin and thereby incurred not only death but spiritual death which is separation from God.

(Genesis 1:26-27, 2:17, 3:6, Romans 5:12-19

We believe in salvation through faith in Christ, who, according to the Scriptures, died for our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, and that through His Blood we have Redemption.

(John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10, 12:1)

We believe that all who have truly repented and believed in Christ as Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised by immersion in water.

(Matthew 3:11-17, 1 Peter 3:21, Mark 16:16, Acts 8:12)

The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.

(Matthew 24:30, 26:63-64, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Thessalonians 1:7-8, Revelation 1:7)
